A new line of merchandise for the TV anime Nihon Sankoku (日本三國) has been announced, featuring original illustrations with a samurai theme. The goods go on sale on October 10, 2026, the same day that Animate launches the “TV Anime Nihon Sankoku – Yamato no Samurai Fair” at select stores and its online shop.
About Nihon Sankoku
Nihon Sankoku is a manga by Matsuki Ikka, serialized on Shogakukan’s comic app Manga One and the web comic platform Ura Sunday. Set in a near-future Japan where nuclear war, natural disasters, and tyrannical rule have triggered a revolution and the collapse of civilization, the story follows Misuma Aoki — an unremarkable local government official — as he rises to power through vast knowledge and sharp rhetoric, aiming to reunify a Japan now split into three warring states.
The TV anime adaptation began airing in April 2026, directed by Terasawa Kazuaki and produced by Studio Kafka. The cast includes:

- Fukuyama Jun as Asama Yoshitsune
- Seto Asami as Higashimachi Konoki
- Nakamura Yuichi as Kaku Yasuaki
- Yamaji Kazuhiro as Ryumon Mitsuhide

New Samurai-Themed Goods
The new merchandise uses freshly drawn original illustrations depicting characters from the Yamato faction — Misuma Aoki, Asama Yoshitsune, Tairado Utsuwa, Ryumon Mitsuhide, and Kaku Yasuaki — all rendered in samurai attire. The lineup includes:
- Acrylic stands
- Character badge collection
- Clear sheet collection (using OP/ED animation cuts)
- Cheering sticker set — a playful item styled like fan support boards, featuring phrases such as “Tsune-chan-san sugoi!” and “Peace shite!”
Yamato no Samurai Fair at Animate
The “TV Anime Nihon Sankoku – Yamato no Samurai Fair” runs from October 10 to November 1, 2026 at the following Animate locations:
- Ikebukuro (Main Store), Sendai, Sapporo, Nagoya, Akihabara, Kyoto, Fukuoka Parco, Osaka Nipponbashi, Yokohama Vivre, Umeda
- Animate Online Store
During the fair, customers who purchase or pre-order Nihon Sankoku-related goods worth ¥1,100 (tax included) or more per transaction will receive one special postcard (five designs total) as a bonus gift. Purchasers of visual merchandise will receive a full set of one postcard. Note that designs cannot be chosen by the customer.
