Anime fans of Nintama Rantaro (忍たま乱太郎) have something to look forward to this autumn: the “Nintama Rantaro Animate Fair ~Trip or Sweet~” (忍たま乱太郎 アニメイトフェア ～トリップ オア スウィートの段～) will be held at Animate stores across Japan starting Saturday, October 3, 2026.
About Nintama Rantaro
Based on the ninja comedy manga by Soubee Amako (尼子騒兵衛), Nintama Rantaro follows the comedic daily lives of young ninja students Rantaro, Shinbee, and Kirimaru as they strive to become full-fledged ninjas at the Ninjutsu Academy. The TV anime series has been airing since 1993 and has built a devoted fanbase across generations.
Most recently, the theatrical film Gekijouban Nintama Rantaro: Dokutake Ninja-tai Saikyou no Gunshi opened on December 20, 2024. Adapted from the popular novel of the same name, the film begins with Doi-sensei setting off to duel Tasogaretoki ninja Moroizumi Takanamon — only to vanish without a trace — delivering a more serious and dramatic story than the usual TV series.

Campaign Details
Online Pre-Order Campaign
From July 13 to July 26, 2026, customers who pre-order eligible Nintama Rantaro character goods through Animate’s online store will receive one postcard (10 designs in total) for every ¥1,100 (tax included) spent.
In-Store Purchase Campaign
During the fair period, October 3 to October 18, 2026, shoppers at physical Animate stores nationwide (online store excluded) will receive one film-style illustration card (9 designs in total) for every ¥1,100 (tax included) spent on eligible Nintama Rantaro goods.
