To celebrate the Matsuno sextuplets’ birthday, which falls on May 24, the production teams released a special collaborative visual bringing characters from three projects together in one image: the TV anime Osomatsu-san, the film Osomatsu-san: Jinrui Kuzu-ka Keikaku!!!!!? (Operation: Make All of Humanity Worthless!!!!!?), and the stage musical Osomatsu-san on STAGE ~SIX MEN’S SHOW TIME~ 2nd SEASON 2.
In this collaborative visual, the sextuplets from all three mediums cheerfully strike the “Che-” (シェー) pose together — the franchise’s iconic salute gesture. Furthermore, the official X (Twitter) accounts for the anime, film, and stage musical all “bombarded” fans with posts on the same day.
About Osomatsu-san
Osomatsu-san is an adaptation of the classic manga Osomatsu-kun by Akatsuka Fujio, reimagining the sextuplet brothers as grown men who are lazy and unemployed. The TV anime is approaching its 10th anniversary on October 6, 2025, making this year the official “10th Anniversary Celebration Year.”
Film and Stage Musical Both Open on June 12
The film Osomatsu-san: Jinrui Kuzu-ka Keikaku!!!!!? is scheduled to open in cinemas on June 12, with voice actors from the Aᴓ! group joined by Kusama Richard Keita and Nishimura Takuya, who take on roles as the Matsuno brothers.
On the same day, the stage musical Osomatsu-san on STAGE ~SIX MEN’S SHOW TIME~ 2nd SEASON 2 will also begin its run, marking a full celebration across all three platforms simultaneously.
