Popular picture-book series Pan Dorobou (パンどろぼう) by Keiko Shibata (KADOKAWA) has teamed up with renowned ramen chain Ippudo (一風堂) for a special collaboration celebrating the restaurant’s 41st anniversary. The limited-time campaign runs from November 1 to November 23, 2026, featuring an exclusive menu item and themed merchandise at all participating Ippudo locations across Japan.
About Pan Dorobou
Pan Dorobou is a hit picture-book series known for its quirky, charming characters and humor-filled stories, having sold over 6.2 million copies in total. In September 2026, the latest volume — Pan Dorobou to Sasurai Ramen (パンどろぼうとさすらいラーメン) — was released, and a TV anime adaptation began airing in October 2026, making this collaboration especially timely.
Collaboration Menu
Inspired by ramen’s appearance in the latest Pan Dorobou story, the collaboration introduces a limited menu that combines both ramen and bread in one meal. The Ramen Burger & Tonkotsu Ramen Set (ラーメンバーガー＆とんこつラーメンセット) is priced at ¥1,480 (tax included) and features:
- Original buns made with Ippudo’s proprietary “Kaze” noodle flour blend
- A special teriyaki chashu patty with teriyaki sauce, mayonnaise, and pickled red ginger
- Served alongside a bowl of classic tonkotsu ramen
Each set ordered comes with one Pan Dorobou puffy sticker (ぷくぷくシール). There are two sticker designs distributed by period:
- Design 1: November 1–7
- Design 2: November 8–14
- November 15–23: Either design, given at random
Stickers are available in limited quantities, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers cannot choose their design.
Collaboration Merchandise
Two exclusive merchandise sets are also available for purchase in-store (dine-in only; takeout orders are not eligible):
- Wakuwaku Cooking Set (わくわくクッキングセット) — An apron and bandana set available in adult and children’s sizes, perfect for parent-child cooking at home. Priced at ¥2,980 each (tax included).
- My Ramen Set (マイラーメンセット) — Includes a ramen bowl, chopsticks, and chopstick rest. Priced at ¥2,980 (tax included).
All merchandise is limited in quantity and will sell out without notice.

The collaboration is available at all domestic branches of Ippudo, IPPUDO RAMEN EXPRESS, RAMEN EXPRESS 博多一風堂, and Ippudo KAY throughout Japan.
