The Paradox Live Dope Show 2026 event held this past weekend revealed major news: the anime series Paradox Live The Animation is getting a new film project.
Studio GRAPH77 Handles Production
According to the newly released teaser video, the studio responsible for the project is Studio GRAPH77, the same studio that previously worked on Shikaku from Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26. The film will bring together 29 characters from nine teams, covering both teams that appeared in the TV series and new teams that have not yet appeared in the anime: Visty, Amprule, 1Nm8, and GokuLuck. The teaser also shows members of all four of these teams.
Third Live Stage Play and New Season
In addition to the film project, the franchise announced a third live stage production titled Paradox Live on Stage -Road to Legend-, split into two runs:
- “RAGE” – running from October 2-11, 2026 at Stellar Ball, Shinagawa Prince Hotel in Tokyo
- “FATE” – running from February 19-28, 2027 at the same venue
This production also marks the live stage debut of Visty, Amprule, 1Nm8, and GokuLuck. The franchise’s main story fourth season is scheduled to launch this September.
About Paradox Live
Paradox Live is a hip-hop multimedia franchise from Avex and GCREST that launched in November 2019. The story is set in a near-future world where rappers wear accessories containing a special metallic substance called Phantom Metal. When the material reacts with a rapper’s DNA, it creates illusions that reflect their emotions during performances, resulting in a spectacular new form of concert unlike anything seen before.
The TV anime series first aired on Tokyo MX on October 3, 2023, and Crunchyroll streamed it as it aired in Japan. The franchise also includes music CDs, merchandise, and concert events.
