Good news has arrived for Paradox Live fans: it has been officially announced that Paradox Live THE ANIMATION will be adapted into a feature film. An announcement video has also been released.

From Mixed-Media Project to the Silver Screen

Paradox Live began in November 2019 as a mixed-media project spanning CD releases and live events before moving into anime in October 2023. The project depicts stage battles between HIPHOP character groups in a near-future world.

The film will be produced by STUDIO GRAPH77, the studio known for work including 藤本タツキ 17-26「シカク」. The film will bring together 29 characters from nine teams, including teams that appeared in the TV series: BAE, The Cat’s Whiskers, cozmez, 悪漢奴等 (Akkan Yatsura), and 武雷管 (Buraikan). Four teams that did not appear in the TV anime will also join: VISTY, AMPRULE, 1Nm8, and 獄Luck (Goku Luck).

The announcement video shows line-art sketches of familiar team members, followed by the debut of members from the four new teams listed above. Details about the story and release date have not yet been revealed.

Third Stage Play and a New Season

In addition to the film news, details were announced for the third round of Paradox Live on Stage. It will be split into two productions:

• Paradox Live on Stage -Road to Legend- “RAGE” – opening on October 2, 2026
• Paradox Live on Stage -Road to Legend- “FATE” – opening on February 19, 2027

For this third stage run, the teams that appeared in previous stage plays will be joined for the first time by VISTY, AMPRULE, 1Nm8, and 獄Luck. A new cast lineup and the key visual for “RAGE” have also been revealed.

The production will run for 13 performances from October 2-11, 2026 at Stella Ball, Shinagawa Prince Hotel in Tokyo. Tickets are priced at 11,000 yen.

4th Season and Other Special Projects

All of this information was revealed at Paradox Live Dope Show 2026, held on May 30-31. The event also announced that Paradox Live 4th SEASON, a new chapter for the project, will begin in September, along with the first cover-song production in Paradox Live history.

Another special project, “LOOK BOOK-Paradox Live 2026 four moods-“, will feature illustrator 慧子 (Keiko) drawing all 29 characters in new illustrations. The illustration series is scheduled for release in July, and a preview image of 緋景斗真 (Hike Toma) has already been shared.
