Story
The story of Croix du Nord picks up after the “Pole Dance Japan Cup.” The members of Galaxy Princesses receive a call from a member of Aile d’Ange inviting them to appear as guest performers at an upcoming Aile d’Ange event. The group accepts — but shortly afterward, a mysterious girl suddenly shows up at Azumi Studio.
Franchise Background
The Pole Princess!! franchise launched with a prologue Episode 0 in December 2022, followed by the first five-minute net anime episode on YouTube in January 2023. The series ran for seven episodes in total.
The original story follows Hinano, an ordinary, mild-mannered 17-year-old whose grandmother runs a beloved planetarium. When Hinano learns the planetarium is set to close, she desperately searches for a way to save it. A chance encounter with a woman dancing on a pole beneath a starry sky sparks an idea — she rallies her friends, sets up a stage inside the planetarium, and together they dive headfirst into the world of pole dancing.
Avex Pictures announced in November 2023 that the film would receive an international release, though no North American premiere date has been confirmed as of yet.
