TV anime Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World is teaming up with Daikokuyu, a beloved sento (public bathhouse) in Oshiage, Sumida Ward, Tokyo, for a special collaboration event running from Saturday, October 17 to Monday, November 9, 2026.

About Re:Zero

Based on the light novel series by Tappei Nagatsuki, Re:Zero follows Natsuki Subaru, an ordinary young man who is suddenly transported to another world on his way home from a convenience store. Armed with the power to “return by death” — rewinding time upon dying — Subaru fights against a cruel fate to protect those he loves.

The TV anime’s first season aired in 2016, followed by a second season and both cours of the third season. In 2026, Season 4 is airing in two parts: “Arc of Loss” (11 episodes, from April) and “Arc of Recapture” (8 episodes, from August), alongside a 10th-anniversary project for the anime.

Five Characters Gather at Daikokuyu

The event brings together Emilia, Rem, Ram, Beatrice, and Shaula for a range of collab activities at the historic bathhouse.

Collab Bath Tickets

A bath ticket bundled with a tenugui (hand towel) will be on sale — each set includes one admission ticket and one randomly selected tenugui from five designs. A complete set containing one ticket and all five tenugui designs is also available. Tickets can be used on any day within the validity period, not just the purchase date. Quantities are limited, so early purchase is recommended.

Collab Drinks & Food

Kogane Kitchen on the second floor of Koganeuyu — Daikokuyu’s sister establishment — will serve a collab food and drink menu. Each item ordered comes with one randomly selected coaster from five designs. A special craft beer in a collab-label bottle will also be available — perfect for enjoying after a relaxing soak.

Five Character-Themed Herb Baths

The event’s standout feature is a rotating lineup of five character-inspired medicinal herb baths (yakuyu), changing daily throughout the collab period:

• Emilia — Lavender Bath
• Ram — Cherry Blossom Bath
• Rem — Nemophila Bath
• Beatrice — Cosmos Bath
• Shaula — Lemon Tea Bath

The October schedule for which bath appears on which day will be announced on Daikokuyu’s official social media.

Cross-Event Collaboration with Asakusa Pop-Up Store

A joint campaign links Daikokuyu with the Re:Zero POP UP STREET in Okuyama Omairimachi / Asakusa Nishisando Shopping Street pop-up shop in neighboring Taito Ward, which opened on October 2. Visitors who show a purchase receipt from the pop-up at Daikokuyu — or show a Daikokuyu admission ticket at the pop-up — will receive a square bromide photo card (one design per location, limited to 500 per venue).

Original Merchandise

The merchandise lineup includes newly drawn “after-bath” trading items, standard acrylic stands, chibi-character “bath version” items, and locker-key-style acrylic keychains that nod to the sento setting. Customers who spend ¥2,000 (tax included) or more in a single transaction will receive one randomly selected postcard from a set of ten designs.

• Saturdays: 14:00 – 10:00 (next day)
• Sundays & public holidays: 13:00 – 10:00 (next day)
• Closed on Tuesdays (open if Tuesday is a public holiday; closed Wednesday instead)
