Bandai’s official online shop Premium Bandai has opened lottery applications for four RG (Real Grade) 1/144-scale model kits from Mobile Suit Gundam UC (機動戦士ガンダムUC), covering both the series’ protagonist machines and its iconic rival unit. All four kits are scheduled to ship in September 2026.
About Mobile Suit Gundam UC
The original Mobile Suit Gundam TV anime debuted in 1979, pioneering the “real robot” genre by depicting mobile suits as genuine weapons of war, grounding its story in realistic military drama and complex human conflict. The franchise has maintained strong popularity both in Japan and internationally for over 40 years.
Gundam UC is set in Universal Century 0096 — three years after the events of Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack. The story, originally written by novelist Harutoshi Fukui (known for Bokoku no Aegis and Shuusen no Lorelei), centers on the struggle over the “Laplace’s Box,” a secret said to be powerful enough to shake the Earth Federation to its core.

Highlights
