The official website for the Rich Girl Caretaker (Saijo no Osewa) anime — based on the light novel series written by Yusaku Sakaishi and illustrated by Sakura Miwabe — dropped its second promotional video on Friday alongside new cast information.

Shūsei Morishita (School Babysitters) is directing the anime at Brains Base. Aya Yoshinaga (Project ARMS, Crest of the Stars, Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf!) is handling series composition, while Nao Kawashima (Noble Reincarnation, Pretty Rhythm Aurora Dream) is the character designer. Takeshi Takadera (Laid-Back Camp, Oshi no Ko, To Your Eternity) serves as sound director.
The music is composed by Natsumi Tabuchi (Aggretsuko, My Next Life as a Villainess), Hanae Nakamura (The Quintessential Quintuplets, My Next Life as a Villainess), and Mayo Kurihara (Hell Mode).

Hobby Japan’s HJ Bunko label published the first light novel volume in May 2021, with the 11th volume released on October 31. A manga adaptation by Sorahiko Mizushima has been running on Hobby Japan’s Fire Cross website since September 2021, with the sixth compiled volume released recently.
Story
High school student Itsuki Tomonari gets caught up in a kidnapping and ends up as the personal caretaker of Hinako Konohana, heiress to one of Japan’s largest conglomerates. Though Hinako appears to be a brilliant and charming young lady, she is secretly lazy and completely lacking in life skills. Bound by family obligations to maintain her “perfect young lady” image at school, she comes to rely entirely on Itsuki’s devoted care — and eventually finds herself unable to imagine life without him. It’s a love story born from an unexpected gap, one that transcends the boundaries between master and servant.
