The official website for the anime Rich Girl Caretaker (Japanese title: Saijo no Osewa), adapted from the light novel by Yuzaku Saiguchi with illustrations by Sakura Miwa, has announced several key details at once, including the first promo video, broadcast date, opening theme song, and additional cast members.
Premiere Date and Broadcast Channels
The series will premiere on the night of July 4 (technically the early morning of July 5) at 2:38 a.m., broadcasting on both TV Tokyo and BS Asahi.
Opening Theme
The band angela will perform the opening theme titled “Sai Sai Saikōkyū no Osewa Shite” (loosely translated as “The Absolute Best, Best, Best Care”).
Cast
The newly announced cast members include Ami Koshimizu, who voices Chizune Surumi, and Takehito Koyasu, who voices Kaigen Konoha.

Production Team
The anime is produced by studio Brains Base, with Shusei Morichita (School Babysitters) directing, Aya Yoshinaka (Project ARMS, Crest of the Stars, Welcome to Japan Ms. Elf!) handling series composition, and Nao Kawashima (Noble Reincarnation, Pretty Rhythm Aurora Dream) designing the characters. Additionally, Takeshi Takadera (Laid-Back Camp, Oshi no Ko, To Your Eternity) serves as Sound Director. The music team consists of Natsumi Tabuchi (Aggretsuko, My Next Life as a Villainess), Hanae Nakamura (The Quintessential Quintuplets, My Next Life as a Villainess), and Mayo Kurihara (Hell Mode).
Source Material
The original light novel launched under the HJ Bunko imprint of Hobby Japan in May 2021 and currently spans 11 volumes (the latest released on October 31), while a manga adaptation by Zorahiko Mizushima began serialization on Hobby Japan’s Fire Cross website in September 2021 and will release its sixth volume on June 1.
Story Overview
The story follows Isuki Tomonari, a high school boy entangled in a fateful incident, who ends up as the caretaker of Hinako Konoha, an heiress to one of Japan’s most powerful business conglomerates. Though Hinako may appear sharp and elegant to outsiders, she is actually clumsy and completely lacking in basic life skills. Nevertheless, due to circumstances involving her family, she is forced to play the role of a “perfect young lady” before everyone else, and so Isuki quietly watches over her from behind the scenes. Eventually, Hinako begins to develop genuine feelings for him — a love story that blossoms from the contrast between the two.
