The TV anime SAKAMOTO DAYS, based on the manga by Yuto Suzuki, has unveiled its sixth installment of the monthly Seasonal Visuals project. The September entry carries a “Sports” theme and comes paired with a new mini audio drama.
New Visual: ORDER Takes to the Basketball Court
The newly drawn illustration places four members of ORDER — Nagumo, Kamigakushi, Daibutsu, and Hyou — in the middle of a basketball game timeout. Each character’s personality shines through their contrasting reactions:
- Hyou burns with competitive spirit, fired up to claim a national championship.
- Daibutsu looks completely exhausted.
- Nagumo calmly sips a drink as though nothing is at stake.
- Kamigakushi wears a tense, serious expression.
In the background, Sakamoto himself appears in his familiar, unmistakable manner — serving as the team’s coach.
Mini Audio Drama: 20 Points Down and Counting
Alongside the visual, a mini audio drama for September’s Sports edition has also been released. The drama picks up during the same timeout, with ORDER trailing by 20 points. The comedic back-and-forth between the team members in this dire situation is a highlight of the release.

SAKAMOTO DAYS follows Taro Sakamoto, a legendary former hitman who gave up his violent life for a peaceful existence with his beloved family — only to be pulled back into the fray alongside his allies when assassins come calling.
Season 1 of the TV anime aired in two cours: the first from January 2025 and the second from July 2025. Season 2 is scheduled to premiere in January 2027.
