The TV anime SAKAMOTO DAYS, based on the manga by Yuto Suzuki, has unveiled the third entry in its 「Seasonal Visuals」 project — this time themed around June and the rainy season (梅雨編) — featuring a new illustrated visual and an original audio mini-drama.
About Seasonal Visuals
「Seasonal Visuals」is a monthly project that releases specially drawn seasonal illustrations alongside brand-new audio mini-dramas. Each installment focuses on the everyday lives of the SAKAMOTO DAYS cast, depicting sides of the characters that never appear in the main story.
June Rainy Season Edition
The third volume places Kamigōri and Daibutsu in a rain-soaked cityscape, where a chance encounter with a stray cat leads to a warm, lighthearted moment between the two characters.
The accompanying audio mini-drama lets listeners hear the pair’s playful banter: Kamigōri is exasperated to find Daibutsu standing in the rain without an umbrella, yet ends up looking after her anyway — all while the two of them play with the wandering cat in the downpour.
