Shoei Delicy announced last Friday that its chocolate cream-filled biscuit snack Sakuyama Chocojiro will be adapted into a short-form anime series on YouTube. The first 10 episodes were released all at once on the same day.
Synopsis
The main character is Chocojiro, the little monkey mascot of the snack brand. He lives on Mount Chocodale and becomes completely hooked on chocolate biscuits after a human child gives him one to try. From there, Chocojiro begins imitating human behavior and sets out to spread the good news about this delicious snack to everyone.

Behind the scenes, Minori Uemura handles directing, writing, character design, illustration, and editing. Studio rhinokino is in charge of animation, while Tasuku Odaka composes the music.
Release Schedule
After the first 10 episodes were released simultaneously, the anime will continue with two new episodes every Friday on YouTube.
