Story & Highlights
High-school gamer Takatuki Makoto is swept into another world alongside his classmates after a bus accident on a school trip. While his peers receive powerful cheat abilities, Makoto ends up with only weak stats and unremarkable skills, leaving him stuck as the lowliest “apprentice mage” while everyone else is recruited by kingdoms and sets off on grand adventures.
Just when things look bleakest, a self-proclaimed minor goddess named Noa — who has zero believers to her name — appears before him with a desperate pitch. Makoto agrees to become her very first follower, and the two embark on an unconventional quest to conquer the isekai world together. The series’ appeal lies in watching the “weakest” hero grow through sheer ingenuity, and in the mysteries surrounding Noa herself.
The anime is based on the light novel series by Ozaki Airu (Overlap Bunko), which has surpassed a cumulative 500,000 copies sold.
