The official website for the Skeleton Knight in Another World (Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechū) anime’s second season released a new promotional video and key visual on Friday, along with the announcement of three additional cast members.

Broadcast & Streaming
Season 2 premieres on AT-X on July 4 at 8:30 p.m. (with a 7:30 a.m. repeat slot), streaming simultaneously on d Anime Store and ABEMA. A repeat broadcast airs on AT-X on July 6, followed by runs on Tokyo MX and BS11 starting July 9. A premiere date on Sun TV has yet to be announced. Crunchyroll will stream the season internationally.

Staff
Director Katsumi Ono returns at Aura Studio, alongside character designer Tōru Imanishi, monster designer Yoshihiro Nagamori, and sound director Satoshi Motoyama. Newcomer Toshizo Nemoto (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4, Inu X Boku Secret Service) takes over series scripts from Takeshi Kikuchi. Chisa Shibata (7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life) steps in as sub-character designer, while Jia Fang Lu (My Clueless First Friend) assumes the role of art director. Additional new staff includes CGI director Tomotaka Aoki (Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 3) and animation producer Yasuhiro Uema.
Theme Songs
PelleK returns to perform the opening theme “Rōman Kaidō, Osanpo Chū” (Strolling on the Highway of Dreams), while voice actor unit DIALOGUE＋ performs the ending theme “Kiseki wa Okinai” (Miracles Don’t Happen).
About the Series
The anime is based on Ennki Hakari‘s light novel series, which began on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in October 2014. Overlap published the first volume with illustrations by KeG in June 2015, and the series currently runs to 10 volumes. A manga adaptation by Akira Sawano has been serialized on Overlap’s Comic Gardo website since February 2017 and has reached 15 volumes. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes both the light novels and manga in English.
The story follows a gamer who falls asleep and wakes up inside the game world — as a skeleton. Armed with his avatar’s powerful gear but saddled with a terrifying skeletal appearance, Arc must carve out a life in a fantastical new land. His hopes for a quiet existence are shattered when he encounters a beautiful elven warrior, pulling him into a journey filled with conflict and adventure.
The first season premiered in Japan in April 2022, with Crunchyroll streaming it subtitled and dubbed in English.
