The official website for the second season of the Skeleton Knight in Another World anime (Japanese title: Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechū), based on the light novels by Ennki Hakari, has announced the show’s official broadcast schedule. The second season will premiere on AT-X on July 4 at 8:30 p.m., and will begin streaming on d Anime Store and ABEMA at the same time.
AT-X will then rebroadcast the episode on July 6, before Tokyo MX and BS11 begin airing the series on July 9. Sun TV will also air the series, though its exact start date has not yet been announced.
Staff
On the production side, Katsumi Ono returns as director at Aura Studio. Several main staff members are also returning, including Tōru Imanishi as character designer, Yoshihiro Nagamori as monster designer, and Satoshi Motoyama as sound director.
The second season also includes several staff changes:
- Toshizo Nemoto (works include That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4 and Inu X Boku Secret Service) handles scripts, replacing Takeshi Kikuchi.
- Chisa Shibata (works include 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life and Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy) serves as sub-character designer, replacing Hideki Inoue.
- Jia Fang Lu (My Clueless First Friend) serves as art director, replacing Kenta Tsuboi.
- Harue Ono (MAD BOX) serves as color key artist, replacing Chiho Nakamura.
- Tomotaka Aoki (Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 3) serves as CGI director.
- Yasuhiro Uema serves as animation producer.
Additional Information
The anime’s first season aired in Japan in April 2022. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired and also offered an English dub.
