The first volume of 「その子供、伝説の剣聖につき」 (Sono Kodomo, Densetsu no Kensei ni Tsuki) by Pechka officially went on sale on June 8 under the Bushiroad Comics label.
Origin and Story
The manga is adapted from the original novel by Izumo Daikichi. It tells the story of Alfred, a sword saint praised as a legend of his era. His fate changes when he becomes hunted amid a political power struggle.
While on the run, Alfred reunites with Sheryl, a former companion, and begins to wish he could continue living by her side. But the story takes another unexpected turn when he accidentally puts a cursed ring on his finger, instantly shrinking his body into that of a small child.
The story then follows the tiny-bodied legendary sword saint as he creates new heroic tales as a little adventurer, blending comedy with high-energy action.
