「Sousou no Frieren Film Concert 2026」 (葬送のフリーレン フィルムコンサート 2026) has revealed a specially drawn new key visual that is sure to excite fans around the world.
About Sousou no Frieren (葬送のフリーレン)
Sousou no Frieren, also known in English as Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, is a manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. Serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday, it follows Frieren, a mage who has lived for more than a thousand years and once journeyed with the heroes who defeated the Demon King, as she continues traveling with new companions in the world after that victory.
The first TV anime season aired from September 2023 to March 2024, while Season 2, which aired in early 2026, generated major buzz, trended on X every week and continued to rank No. 1 on streaming platforms. Immediately after the Season 2 finale, it was also announced that Season 3 【黄金郷編 / Golden Land Arc】 will air on Nippon TV in October 2027.
Special Newly Drawn Key Visual
The newly revealed visual was drawn especially for the concert. It shows Frieren, Fern and Stark, the three members of the traveling party, dressed in elegant outfits while playing different instruments: flute, violin and horn, respectively. The image fits the atmosphere of an orchestral concert perfectly.
The visual will also be used for the “Layered Acrylic Block” visitor bonus (about 100×75 mm, 10 mm thick), which will be given to attendees holding any ticket type.
Concert Details
The event will immerse fans in the world of Sousou no Frieren through music performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra alongside key scenes from both Season 1 and Season 2 of the anime. Evan Call, the composer of the series’ soundtrack, will also appear.
In addition, milet, the singer-songwriter behind the ending themes for both seasons, “Anytime Anywhere” and “The Story of Us”, will perform live with the full orchestra.
