About the Production
Based on the manga by Aimoto Shou, currently serialised in Jump Square (Jump SQ.) published by Shueisha, the stage play is scheduled to run from 17 to 27 September 2026 at Theatre H in Tokyo.
Synopsis
Kemono Jihen (怪物事変) follows mysterious creatures known as kemono (怪物) that live hidden among humans, concealing their true nature while remaining entangled in human affairs. The story centres on Natsuha, a boy born of both human and kemono blood, who encounters the enigmatic detective Inugami. Together they solve cases involving the supernatural, while Natsuha gradually unravels the secrets surrounding his own birth.
