The summer 2025 anime Taiaridesita. ~Ojousama wa Kakutou Game Nante Shinai~ (対ありでした。～お嬢さまは格闘ゲームなんてしない～) has revealed the synopsis and preview images for Episode 2, “Taiaridesita,” set to air on Tuesday, July 14.
About the Series
Based on the ongoing manga by Ejima Eri, serialized in Monthly Comic Flapper and published by KADOKAWA (MF Comics Flapper Series, 10 volumes out so far), the series was also adapted into a live-action drama on NTT Docomo’s Lemino platform in 2023. The story follows Fukatsuki Aya, a commoner who enrolls at an elite all-girls school and admires the most celebrated student there — Yoru Emio, known as “Lady Shirayuri.” When Aya stumbles upon Emio secretly playing a fighting game alone in an empty classroom, and Emio realizes Aya is a fellow gamer, the two find themselves unable to resist a match — despite gaming being strictly forbidden on school grounds. Thus begins their passionate secret fighting-game rivalry.
Episode 2 Synopsis: “Taiaridesita”
Aya and Emio escape through a classroom window to avoid being caught by the school caretaker, but Emio accidentally leaves her chest ribbon behind. Starting up their fighting-game sessions again right now would be unwise — it could easily lead to expulsion. Even so, Aya can’t shake a nagging feeling in her chest…
