The theatrical film Takopin no Genzai -Arigatou, Mata Ashita- (タコピーの原罪 -ありがとう、また明日-) has released a new key visual and its official full trailer. It has also been confirmed that the theme song will be “Rabyuu” (らびゅー), a newly written track by artist Tele.
About the Film
Takopin no Genzai is based on the manga by Taizan 5, published by Shueisha under the Jump Comics label. The story follows Takopin, an alien from the “Happy Star” who descends to Earth to spread happiness, and his encounter with a human girl named Shizuka. The film is a theatrical re-edit of the six-episode anime series that streamed in June 2025, restructured for the big screen with newly added scenes.
New Visual & Trailer
The new key visual was drawn by character designer Nagahara Keita (長原圭太) and carries the tagline “To those of you who were always alone——” (いつも、ひとりだったきみたちへ──). It depicts Shizuka, Marina, and Azuma standing in an after-school classroom, each avoiding the others’ gaze, while Takopin gently nestles beside Shizuka. The full trailer, which includes new footage, also offers a preview of the theme song “Rabyuu.”

Tele — Theme Song Artist
I got off the train at the local station and cycled around on a rental bike — it was smaller, quieter, and more worn-down than I had imagined. I wrote this song for those girls who deserved to be loved unconditionally, to tell them that someday they’ll be able to laugh off the hell they’re going through right now. I’m genuinely dreading — and looking forward to — witnessing their suffering on the big screen before everything becomes ordinary.
Tele also handled the ending theme for the original anime series.
Movie Tickets & Merchandise
From October 23, a special Mubichike (advance movie ticket) card featuring a design of Takopin playing with popcorn will go on sale via the Meijya and MOVIE WALKER STORE websites, as well as at most theater box offices. Animate stores will carry an exclusive limited edition Mubichike card bundled with a “Shakashaka” keychain.
