Bandai Namco Filmworks has revealed the main voice cast for the TV anime adaptation of the manga Tank Chair by Manabu Yashiro through a character promo video released last Wednesday.
Main Voice Cast and Characters
- Koki Uchiyama as Nagi Taira — a top-tier hitman who sustained a serious injury from a grenade blast protecting his younger sister, leaving him physically disabled and confined to a wheelchair.
- Minori Fujidera as Shizuka Taira — Nagi’s younger sister and the pilot of the “Tank Chair.”
- Gakuto Kajiwara as Naozumi Kurosaka — a former classmate of Nagi’s who harbors a deep-seated rivalry.
- Saori Hayami as Touko Kurosaka — Naozumi’s younger sister and his partner.
Synopsis
Shizuka takes on the most dangerous work as an assassin, but the person who actually carries out the killings is not her — it is Nagi, her older brother who was once a top-tier hitman, who now takes grenades in place of his sister and lives with a disability, using a wheelchair. However, Shizuka encounters a key figure who reignites her brother’s fighting spirit, and with that, a brutal journey to restore his body begins — facing the most dangerous of enemies.
Production Staff
The anime is produced by Polygon Pictures, with Tadahiro Yoshihira (Knights of Sidonia: Love Woven in the Stars) and Hiroaki Ando (Kaina of the Great Snow Sea, Ajin) co-directing and writing the screenplay. Yuki Moriyama (Blame!) handles character design, Masaru Yokoyama (Mashle: Magic and Muscles, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) composes the score, and Kazuma Teshigahara (Kaina of the Great Snow Sea) is responsible for art direction.

Also revealed is an image of the Tank Chair Mark-1, the base-model combat wheelchair that Shizuka uses in battle.
