The battle-fantasy series Tempall ~The Power of the Item~ (テムパル ~アイテムの力~) has launched its first compiled manga volume in Japan. Published by SB Creative, the book went on sale on July 15, 2026 — just months before the series’ TV anime adaptation is set to premiere in October.
Creative Team
The series is based on the original story by Saenal, with art by Team Argo and story adaptation by Monohumbug (REDICE STUDIO). Originally serialized as a vertical-scroll webtoon on the Piccoma platform, the new volume has been restructured into a traditional horizontal manga format for the print release.
Story
The story is set inside SATISFY, a VR game boasting roughly two billion players worldwide. The protagonist, college student Takumi Nagamine, has racked up serious debt from in-game purchases. Everything changes when he rerolls his in-game job to become a legendary blacksmith, launching him on a journey from the very bottom of the game’s hierarchy to the very top.

To celebrate the volume’s release, participating retailers are offering exclusive purchase bonuses:
- Animate — B6 visual board
- Gamers — bromide photo card
- Melonbooks / Sanyo-do Shoten / select partner stores — illustration card
- Hariyas Shoten / Miyawaki Shoten — illustration paper
