The TV anime adaptation of Tensei Goblin dakedo Shitsumon Aru? (Any Questions for a Reincarnated Goblin?), based on the manga by Miki Nazuna and Araki Sai, has released its main visual and main PV. The series is set to begin broadcasting on October 5, 2026, starting with TOKYO MX and rolling out across other channels.
Main Visual and Main PV
The main visual features protagonist Akira alongside Karen, Chloe, and the three elf sisters who inhabit the village where Akira lives. The main PV opens with an introduction to goblin ecology before showcasing Akira’s daily life among his goblin companions and his encounters with the series’ wider cast of characters.
Theme Songs
The theme songs have also been officially announced:
- Opening Theme: “ハロー” (Hello) by Sou
- Ending Theme: “小さな僕ら” (Chiisana Bokura) by Ahab (エイハブ)
Sou commented that while the premise of reincarnating as a goblin may seem comedic at first glance, he was deeply moved by the image of Akira and the short-lived goblins pressing forward through countless encounters. He described “ハロー” as a song about living out the time one is given and the hope of one day crossing paths with someone special, and said he sang it with great care while keeping the story in mind.
Ahab reflected that weakness is what drives people to band together, and that this unity can sometimes produce a strength unlike anything else — which is precisely why they play as a band. They see Akira and the goblins as beings who share that same duality of weakness and strength, and said “小さな僕ら” became a fun song that draws a parallel between the characters and the band itself.
New Mascot Character: Tsutaya
A new character named Tsutaya (ツタヤ) has been unveiled as the official promotional mascot for the anime. Tsutaya originated from an original goblin illustration drawn by voice actress Tachibana Ansa (voice of Chloe) during a stage event at AnimeJapan 2026 in March, where the audience voted to adopt the design. Character designer Saida Hiroyuki then produced the official artwork based on her sketch. A video on YouTube also features Toya Kikunosuke (voice of Akira) and Tachibana Ansa presenting Tsutaya’s visual together.
Story
The series follows Akira, a former salaryman who is reincarnated as a goblin — a short-lived species. Thanks to a special skill he receives, Akira is able to outlive his goblin peers and inherits their abilities one by one as they pass on before him, weaving a fantasy story of survival and connection.
