Ken Elephant has announced the Tetsuwan Atom Figure Collection, a new line of figures based on Osamu Tezuka‘s beloved classic Tetsuwan Atom (Astro Boy). The figures are set to roll out in capsule toy vending machines nationwide in Japan from mid-July.
Produced under the official supervision of Tezuka Productions, the figures faithfully capture Atom’s lively facial expressions along with his signature glossy head and boots.
Four Variants in the Collection
- Shuppatsu (Takeoff) — Atom launching into flight
- Kōshin (March) — Atom striding forward
- Shonbori (Sulking) — Atom looking downcast
- Hanikam (Bashful) — Atom with a shy smile
The collection will be available in two formats: the standard capsule toy version sold through vending machines, and a box set edition. Ken Elephant’s official online store is already accepting pre-orders for the box set ahead of the general release.
