A continuous anime lecture series titled 「Théâtre Anime Zemi 2026 – Anime no Genzaichi」 (Théâtre Anime Zemi 2026 – Where Is Anime Today?) is set to be held at Théâtre Shinjuku in Tokyo, running monthly from June 27, 2026 for a total of 6 sessions. Anime critic Fujitsu Ryota serves as the series planner and host throughout the run.

The core concept of this series is to ask the question: “What is happening in the anime industry right now?” — combining theatrical film screenings via the venue’s odessa sound system with approximately one-hour post-screening discussions exploring the diverse forms of expression found in animated works today, as well as how the very definition of “anime” continues to shift with the times.

Guest speakers invited to each session include Seshita Hiroyuki, Iwaizawa Kenji, Vab.png, Popurika, loundraw, Yoneyama Mai, Katabuchi Sunao, Yoshimura Ai, and Nagasaki Yukio. Admission is 3,500 yen per session. TCG members can purchase advance tickets online from 6:00 p.m. on the Friday before each event, with general online sales opening at 9:00 p.m. the same day. Box office sales begin from the following Saturday morning.

In addition, the content from all 6 sessions will be compiled and published as a book by BNN publisher, and an online screening paired with the course is also planned.
