To mark its 10th anniversary, the anime Touken Ranbu -Hanamaru- is making its debut in the Taito Kuji lottery — a guaranteed-prize format where every ticket wins something. A wide range of merchandise featuring exclusive newly drawn illustrations will go on sale from Friday, 30 October 2026.
About the Series
The Touken Ranbu franchise began with the育成 simulation game Touken Ranbu ONLINE, in which legendary swords are reborn as humanoid warriors known as “Touken Danshi,” tasked with protecting history. The property has since expanded into anime, stage plays, and musicals. The 2016 anime Touken Ranbu -Hanamaru- follows the everyday lives of Yamanbagiri Kunihiro, Kashuu Kiyomitsu, and their fellow Touken Danshi at a particular citadel. Several follow-up installments were also produced, including Toku Touken Ranbu -Hanamaru- and the special volumes ～Tsuki no Maki～, ～Yuki no Maki～, and ～Hana no Maki～.
