ปกนิตยสาร Young Animal ZERO ฉบับ 10/1 ที่มี Doka-Gui Daisuki! Mochizuki-san และ Boku no Suki na Hito ga Suki na Hito

Two manga series that have recently been greenlit for TV anime adaptations will share the cover and color pages of Young Animal ZERO‘s October 1 issue, hitting newsstands on September 9. The titles in question are Doka-Gui Daisuki! Mochizuki-san and Boku no Suki na Hito ga Suki na Hito.

Doka-Gui Daisuki! Mochizuki-san — Over One Million Copies in Print

Created by Maruyono Kamome, the series follows Mochizuki Mikoto, a 21-year-old office worker who relieves stress and hunger by eating massive, uninhibited meals — oil soba, sara udon, mentaiko rice, tonkotsu ramen, doria, and more. The publisher describes it as a “limit-breaking forbidden gourmet gag” manga, and cumulative print runs have now surpassed one million copies.

The October 1 issue carries the latest chapter, in which Mochizuki faces a crisis when her home air conditioner breaks down. Additionally, Volume 4 of the collected edition goes on sale September 29, featuring an exclusive newly drawn episode.

Boku no Suki na Hito ga Suki na Hito — Bittersweet Romantic Comedy

Written by Aoi Sekina with art by Tsuzura Ryo, this “bittersweet love comedy” centers on three characters — Kanora, Asahi, and Miya — each carrying unrequited feelings that intertwine in complicated ways.

The issue features two consecutive chapters, chapters 46 and 47, in color. The story picks up from a sleepover at Pilvi’s house that sets a long night in motion. Volume 7 of the manga is currently available.

Other Highlights in This Issue

  • Akuen — A debut series by Harada, marking the creator’s first serialization in a seinen magazine. It leads the issue with a color opening and is described as a youth suspense-horror story set on the remote island of Koraijima. An official X (Twitter) account for the series has also launched.
  • Suugaku Golden — With cumulative sales exceeding 200,000 copies, this mathematics-themed manga also appears in color. The current arc follows the grueling main round of the Math Olympiad, where 200 competitors are whittled down to just 20.

Young Animal ZERO‘s October 1 issue is on sale September 9, B5 format, priced at ¥850 (tax included). The magazine publishes on the 9th of every odd-numbered month.
