Uma Musume Pretty Derby is getting a brand-new merchandise collection inspired by the local culture and landmarks of all 47 prefectures across Japan. Animate will release the lineup starting September 26, 2026, with a tie-in fair running at Animate stores nationwide and the Animate online shop through October 25, 2026.
About Uma Musume Pretty Derby
Uma Musume Pretty Derby is a training simulation game in which players take on the role of a rookie trainer at “Tracen Academy,” guiding anthropomorphized horse-girl characters — each named after a real-life legendary racehorse — through daily training and bonding toward victory on the track. The game is praised for its deep gameplay systems, dramatic storylines, thrilling race sequences, and live-performance segments called “Winning Live.” It earned an Excellence Award at the Japan Game Awards 2021.

Running concurrently with the product launch, the fair 「ウマ娘 プリティーダービー 47都道府県名物いっぱいご当地ダービー in アニメイト」 will be held at all Animate locations and the Animate online shop from September 26 to October 25, 2026. Customers who purchase or pre-order any Uma Musume Pretty Derby merchandise during the fair period will receive one postcard gift (5 designs available) per transaction. Animate stores across Japan will also feature special shelf decorations showcasing Uma Musume characters representing each prefecture.
