The team behind the TV anime adaptation of the light novel Victoria of Many Faces (Japanese title: Tefuda ga Ōme no Victoria), written by Syuu with illustrations by Nanna Fujimi, released the first official promo video last Friday. The clip includes a preview of the ending theme song “En no Tsuki” by the three-member unit KI_EN.

Production Team
The anime is produced by Studio DEEN under the direction of Nobukage Kimura, who has previously directed episodes of tsuritama and Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits-, as well as having contributed to Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26. Series composition is handled by Naohiro Fukushima, known for I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level 2 and #COMPASS2.0 ANIMATION PROJECT. Character design for the animation is entrusted to Mina Ōsawa, who is known from the Given anime franchise, and Frontier Works serves as the original planning producer.

Story Summary
In an era where spies lurk everywhere, Chloe is a master spy with unparalleled skills in disguise and combat. Having pushed through hardships all her life, she was eventually betrayed by a superior and forced to flee, starting a new life under the identity of Victoria, a sworn noblewoman in the small kingdom of Ashberry. All she wanted was a quiet, peaceful existence — but that tranquility did not last long. Once she became entangled with a large number of people, her old spy instincts came roaring back with a vengeance. At the same time, a second prince and various others begin to take notice of Victoria’s remarkable abilities, and a shadowy underworld starts closing in on the woman of many faces.
Source Material
Syuu began publishing the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in December 2021 and last updated it in February 2022. Kadokawa released the third print volume in January 2024. The manga adaptation by Komo Ushino began serialization on Kadokawa’s Flos Comic website in December 2022, with the compiled seventh volume going on sale last February 16. Both the light novel and manga English editions are published by Yen Press.
