No. 1: Scene Cuts Revealed for “I am a hero too”
“I am a hero too” was originally a standalone one-shot manga included in the fan book My Hero Academia Ultra Age, released in December 2024. Set eight years after Deku and his classmates graduate from U.A. High School, the story follows Eri as a high schooler pursuing her own dream. The piece has been adapted into anime as part of the My Hero Academia 10th anniversary project and began streaming across video platforms on August 3.
No. 8: Horikoshi Kohei Returns to Weekly Shonen Jump
Also drawing significant attention was the announcement that Horikoshi Kohei, creator of My Hero Academia, will return to Weekly Shonen Jump with a brand-new one-shot. Titled “Warawanaide yo Shijima-san” (笑わないでよ しじまさん), the boy-meets-girl horror story is set to appear in the combined issue 37–38, on sale August 10 from Shueisha.
