The staff for the anime 「World Is Dancing」 has revealed a new main PV, additional cast members, and new character visuals.
Main PV: “謡” (Utai)
The PV opens with Inuo’s line, “I can hear the language of flowers,” before drawing viewers into the quiet atmosphere of a Sarugaku performance. Insert songs sung by Yumiri Hanamori as Oniyasha and Romi Park as Zōjirō resound beautifully, reflecting the world and atmosphere of the work in depth.
Additional Cast
The PV also announced two additional cast members:
- Yoji Matsuda as Inuo – A mysterious man who appears and disappears unexpectedly, always leaving behind words that affect Oniyasha’s heart
- Miyuki Sawashiro as Shirabyoshi – A physically frail woman living in a dilapidated barn, who survives by selling herself in exchange for food
Comments from the Cast
Yoji Matsuda (Inuo)
“Just hearing the title ‘World Is Dancing’ and learning that the protagonist is Zeami (Oniyasha) made me so excited I could hardly contain myself. On top of that, I was cast as Inuo (Doami), an important figure who helped shape the same era as Kan’ami and Zeami. In this story, Inuo is a mysterious character who can appear anywhere. I am looking forward to seeing how his relationship with Oniyasha will be portrayed. This is actually my first regular role in a continuing anime series, and I feel very honored to have received such a wonderful role.”
Miyuki Sawashiro (Shirabyoshi)
“I am Miyuki Sawashiro, and I voice Shirabyoshi. At first, I felt burdened by the question of how much I, as someone who has never lacked food or shelter, could portray this character. But then I was drawn in by her hungry spirit and found myself approaching her before I knew it. I am very curious to see how her dance will be expressed in animation. Please look forward to it.”
