The TV anime Yoroi Shinden Samurai Trooper (鎧真伝サムライトルーパー) has announced an additional cast member for its ongoing second cour: voice actor Mikami Satoru (三上哲) will play Yatogojin (ヤトゴジン), a mysterious character shrouded in enigma.
Mikami shared a comment about his role: “I’m Mikami Satoru, playing Yatogojin. A dragon that’s also a god?? He looks intimidating and incredibly powerful. What exactly are his goals? Things are definitely heating up toward the climax — please look forward to it!”
“BAD Idenshi” Full-Cast Dance Video and Transparent Assets
Alongside the casting announcement, a “Odotte Mita” (Try Dancing) video in the “Zennin Shuugo Ver.” (Full Cast Assembly Version) has been released, featuring the Samurai Troopers performing choreography set to the Season 2 opening theme “BAD遺伝子” (BAD Idenshi).
Furthermore, the production has announced the distribution of transparent cut-out assets (透過素材) of the dancing characters, allowing fans to create their own dance videos alongside their favourite characters from the series.
Episode 23 Preview and Voice Drama Episode 7
A synopsis and preview stills for anime episode 23 have also been revealed. In the episode, Inmei (インメイ) resurrects Yatogojin, who is referred to as the “God of Destruction.”
Additionally, details for episode 7 of the original voice drama “Samurai High School (サムライハイスクール)” have been unveiled, titled “It’s Time for the All-School Assembly! ~Principal Rashinwa’s One-Man Show~”
