The staff of Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers, the sequel to the classic Yoroiden Samurai Troopers series, released the full promotional video for the anime’s second cour on Monday. The team also revealed a new promotional visual, additional cast members, theme song artists, and confirmed the official debut date of July 7.
Second Cour Theme Songs
For the second cour, Dannie May performs the opening theme “Bad Idenshi” (Bad Gene), while the ending theme “Bakemon” is performed by karanoah.
In the first cour, rock band blank paper performed the opening theme “YOAKE” (Dawn), and boy group ONE OR EIGHT performed the ending theme “POWER”.

Production Staff
Yōichi Fujita (Gintama, Mr. Osomatsu) directs at Sunrise, with Shōgo Mutō (Crows Zero) supervising and writing the series scripts. The original story is credited to Hajime Yatate, the shared pen name of Sunrise’s creative team.
For character and armor design, Yūhei Murota (Love Live!) handles the main characters, Tsukasa Kotobuki (MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM THE ORIGIN MSD Cucuruz Doan’s Island) designs the villains, Hideo Okamoto (Yoroiden Samurai Troopers) handles original Yoroi Gear armor designs, and Takuya Suzuki (Brave King GaoGaiGar Final Grand Glorious Gathering) handles Yoroi Gear designs for the anime. About the Anime
Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers is set in modern-day Shinjuku and follows five boys who wear samurai armor called Yoroi Gear to fight the demon emperor Arago.
The original series Yoroiden Samurai Troopers (Legendary Armor Samurai Troopers) was produced by Sunrise and aired in Japan from 1988 to 1989. It was later broadcast in the United States on Cartoon Network under the title Ronin Warriors. Crunchyroll currently streams the new anime.
