TV anime Youjo Senki (幼女戦記) will celebrate its 10th anniversary with its first-ever film concert event. Titled “Anime 10th Anniversary ‘Youjo Senki’ Film Concert,” the event is scheduled for Saturday, March 20, 2027 at Ota City Hall Apricot in Tokyo, with two performances on the same day.
What to Expect
Audiences will be able to relive the battles and story of the series through large-screen footage, accompanied by live orchestral performances of the anime’s score and theme songs. The event will cover Season 1, the theatrical film, and the recently aired Season 2. A special highlight will be live on-stage dubbing (生アフレコ) performed by the main voice cast:
- Yuki Aoi — as Tanya
- Hamano Daiki — as Weiss
- Kobayashi Yusuke — as Grantz
- Tomatsu Haruka — as Mary
Music will be handled by composer Katayama Shuji (Team-MAX), and artist group MYTH & ROID will also appear as guests.
Tickets and Merchandise
Tickets will be available in standard form as well as a special bundle that includes exclusive merchandise: a limited-edition metal charm modeled after the “Elenium Type 95 Computation Orb” in three-dimensional form, paired with a character plate featuring newly drawn illustrations. The design differs between the matinee and evening shows — the matinee features Tanya in a tuxedo, while the evening show features Tanya in a dress. Illustrations will be revealed at a later date.
Ticket pricing is as follows:
- S Seat (with merchandise bonus): ¥16,500
- A Seat (with merchandise bonus): ¥13,200
- A Seat (standard): ¥9,900
The first-priority lottery ticket application window runs from September 24 through October 4 at 11:59 PM.

Messages from the Creators
Original novelist Carlo Zen reflected on the decade-long journey of the series — his debut work — expressing gratitude to illustrator Shinozuki Shinobu, whose cover art for the first volume helped the series gain traction, to manga artist Tojo Chika for helping expand its readership, and to directors Uemura and Yamamoto along with scriptwriter Inohara for bringing the anime across three productions. To fans, he offered a heartfelt message:
“Thank you. I’m sorry for making you wait. And thank you for waiting all the same.”
Voice actress Yuki Aoi, who plays Tanya, called the event a luxurious opportunity to look back on ten years alongside the fans who have supported the series. She added:
“I’ll make sure to sharpen my claws so you can feel the hellish battlefield that Tanya and the others have charged through — right through your ears. Welcome to the battlefield!”
