The TV anime 「弱気MAX令嬢なのに、辣腕婚約者様の賭けに乗ってしまった」 (Yowaki MAX Reijou nano ni, Udewa Kon’yakusha-sama no Kake ni Notte Shimatta) has revealed its first PV and announced three additional voice cast members: Rina Hidaka as Caroline Ramsey, Sora Amamiya as Erin White, and Haruki Ishiya as Henry Cox.
Story and Characters
The work is adapted from the original novel by Hiro Oda, published by Beads Log Bunko / KADOKAWA, with illustrations by Tsubasa.v and a manga adaptation by Aji Murata. The story follows a young woman reincarnated as the “villainess” Pia Rockwell in the world of an otome game. Although she is extremely timid, or “Yowaki MAX,” she ends up accepting a wager from her sharp-witted fiancé Rufus Stan, the prime minister’s son. The result is a sweet and surprising romantic comedy about a villainess who is relentlessly pursued.
The main roles are voiced by Miku Itō as Pia and Ryōta Ōsaka as Rufus. The newly announced characters include Caroline, the heroine of the in-story otome game “Caroline and the Rainbow Magic Sweets” (マジキャロ). Erin and Henry are engaged to each other, but the game’s story causes Henry to gradually fall for Caroline. The first PV also lets fans hear these three characters’ voices for the first time.
