Fans of the anime Yu Yu Hakusho (幽☆遊☆白書), get ready! Tapioca drink shop Bull Pulu has announced a very special collaboration with this legendary series, officially launching on May 21, 2026 as a limited-time event at 31 locations throughout Japan.
About Yu Yu Hakusho
Yu Yu Hakusho is a battle manga by Yoshihiro Togashi, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1990 to 1994. The story follows Urameshi Yusuke, a delinquent teenager who dies in an accident but is given the chance to return as a “Spirit Detective,” tasked with fighting demons alongside close friends Kuwabara Kazuma, Kurama, and Hiei. The work gained massive popularity both in Japan and worldwide.
The TV anime aired from October 1992, spanning 112 episodes in total, produced by Studio Pierrot (now Studio Pierrot Co., Ltd.), and became one of the studio’s most iconic productions. In December 2023, a live-action series was also made available to stream on Netflix.
Special Collaboration Menu
The highlight of this event is a drinks menu inspired by all four main characters:
- Yusuke — Melon soda float, inspired by Yusuke’s bold style
- Kuwabara — Blue water fresh soda
- Kurama — Strawberry milk tea
- Hiei — Brown Sugar (dark red syrup) milk tea
In addition to the drinks, a castella (Japanese-style sponge cake) topped with whipped cream is also available to try.
Exclusive Trading Mini Acrylic Goods
During the collaboration period, from May 21 to June 7, 2026, exclusive goods featuring newly drawn mini acrylic illustrations will be available, including:
- Trading Can Badges
- Trading Mini Acrylic Stands
- Trading Acrylic Keychains
- Character Name Badges (one per character)
For fans who cannot visit a store in person, the goods can also be ordered online via GK Store from May 21 at 12:00 noon through June 14, 2026 at 23:59. A list of all 31 participating store locations is available on the official Bull Pulu website.
