“Katsushika Rhapsody” by Kohei Dojima, the opening theme for the TV anime Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Koen-mae Hashutsujo, better known as Kochikame, will be released on 7-inch vinyl for the first time on September 21.
The song was originally released on May 1, 1997 as an 8 cm CD single and has remained one of the most recognizable songs associated with the series.
The vinyl release date of September 21 coincides with the 50th anniversary of the original manga’s serialization. This year also marks the 30th anniversary of the anime broadcast, making the release a celebration of both milestones.
