Virgin Killer Ninpōchō (ヴァージン・キラー忍法帖) by Narita Imomushi launched its first compiled volume on June 12 via publisher MAG Garden. The series, currently serialized on MagComi, is a ninja romantic comedy centered on a virgin shinobi who is peerless in battle but hopelessly oblivious, and a talented kunoichi whose emotions are always running ahead of her.
Story
The two leads — Goromaru, a top-class fighter who is dense and inexperienced in love, and Murasaki, a skilled kunoichi whose feelings constantly spill out in a tsundere fashion — have been rivals since childhood and now both set their sights on becoming the group’s next leader.
Murasaki has long harbored feelings for Goromaru but cannot bring herself to say so directly, defaulting instead to a prickly attitude. Goromaru, for his part, is too oblivious to notice — until the current leader, a hopeless romantic, begins engineering situations that slowly make the two more aware of each other.
