Haikyuu!! is the landmark sports manga by Haruichi Furudate, serialised in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2012 for over eight and a half years, with cumulative print copies exceeding 75 million. The TV anime adaptation launched in 2014 and ran through four seasons until December 2020, captivating audiences both in Japan and internationally.
The theatrical film Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle, released in February 2024, depicted the long-awaited clash between Karasuno High and rival school Nekoma, grossing over 20 billion yen worldwide and winning the Japan Academy Prize for Outstanding Animation.
