Main Visual ชุดที่ 3 ของアニメทีวี Sayonara Lala

The TV anime Sayonara Lala (さよならララ) has unveiled its third main PV, third main key visual, and a collaboration visual with VTuber duo PokoP (ぽこピー). The production also announced that Tsuda Minami will voice the character Lisa, Yamamoto Kazuomi will voice Kota, and singer Hana Hope will perform the ending theme.

Third Main PV

The new PV opens with a line from mermaid princess Lala — “I want to see it at least once” — hinting at her fascination with the human world. Having used a forbidden medicine to take human form and revive in Shiga Prefecture, Lala searches for true love while living quietly alongside Otsu Mari and her family. The PV also captures the emotional turmoil Lala experiences as her feelings swing between the mermaid and human worlds.

PokoP Collaboration and Shiga Tie-ins

Because the story is set in Shiga, the production has teamed up with Koka-ryu Ninja! Ponpoko and Peanuts-kun — collectively known as PokoP — who have strong ties to the region. The collaboration visual will be used as a postcard prize for fans who spot PokoP hidden within the anime and post their answers on X; winners will be chosen by lottery.

The series also features many recognizable Shiga landmarks. In addition, a collaboration product with local supermarket chain Heiwado (平和堂) — a white peach cream puff in Sayonara Lala packaging — is now on sale at Heiwado stores.

About Sayonara Lala

Sayonara Lala is an original anime created to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Kinema Citrus. • Lala is voiced by Hishikawa Kana.
  • The series is directed by Koide Takashi, a Shiga native making his directorial debut.

The anime begins broadcasting on July 5, 2026 on TOKYO MX, BS Asahi, Yomiuri TV, and AT-X, with simultaneous streaming on multiple platforms.

Comments

Tsuda Minami (Lisa)

The concept of a “mermaid princess” is a world every girl dreams of. I couldn’t stop imagining what a modern-day mermaid would be like! And the way it all ties into Lake Biwa — the love this show has for Shiga is something else. Please enjoy Lala’s story, everyone.

Yamamoto Kazuomi (Kota)

The broadcast is finally getting close! I’m so happy to be part of a work set at Lake Biwa, a place I visited almost every year as a kid. The first time I met Kota, he was standing in front of Heiwado with Lisa, holding a plastic bag. I hope everyone gets to experience this world where fairy tale and reality intersect. To the people of Shiga, and to fans around the world — please enjoy Sayonara Lala!

Hana Hope (Ending Theme Artist)

Lala steps out of the mermaid world and into the human world. Growing up with two nationalities, I sometimes felt from a young age that I didn’t belong anywhere. The song title “Hearts Glow” means “the light of the heart,” and the “wild glow” in the lyrics is that unique brilliance each of us has — a little strange from the outside, but entirely our own. Through this song I realized that singing as my true self is where I belong. This song is a letter to everyone searching for their place, and to Lala. Never let go of your light — that wild glow in your heart is a beautiful hearts glow that will surely connect you to someone.
