The production team behind Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity revealed the anime’s main visual, theme song performers, and premiere date on Sunday. The Calamity is the fourth and final part of the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime series.
Theme Songs
Singer jo0ji will perform the opening theme “I-BULL,” while singer-songwriter 9Lana takes on the ending theme “Rasen” (Spiral).
Broadcast Schedule
The anime premieres on July 25 on TV Tokyo at 11:00 p.m. JST (10:00 a.m. EDT). Subsequent broadcast slots are as follows:
- BS TV Tokyo — July 27
- AT-X — August 2
- Hiroshima TV & Niigata Broadcasting — August 4
- Sendai Broadcasting — August 10
Japanese streaming services will carry the series starting July 26 at noon JST.
International Streaming
Outside Japan, the anime streams on Disney+ in many territories and through Ani-One Asia across much of Asia. In the United States, Viz Media streams the series on Hulu.
Series Background
The first cour of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War aired from October to December 2022, concluding with a one-hour special combining episodes 12 and 13. The second cour launched in July 2023 on Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America, and Disney+ in select other regions. The third part, The Conflict, ran from October to December 2024, ending with a one-hour finale.
The full series spans four cours with breaks between each, adapting the Thousand-Year Blood War arc — the final arc of Tite Kubo’s original manga, covering volumes 55 through 74 — through to its conclusion.
