The production team behind TV anime Crebates II: The Demon Beast King and the False Hero Legend (クレバテスⅡ -魔獣の王と偽りの勇者伝承-) has released episode 1 scene cuts, a web preview trailer, and a special behind-the-scenes tokusatsu (special effects) making-of clip.
Episode 1: “Solsein Seminary”
The first episode of the new season is titled “Solsein Seminary” (神学校ソルセイン). After a long and grueling battle, Queen Mother Toara of Heiden is finally reunited with her son Luna. As a reward for Kren and his companions protecting Luna, Toara grants their wish and officially appoints Kren as Luna’s personal magic tutor.
However, Luna’s formal education cannot begin until he turns three — roughly two years away. In the meantime, Kren decides to enroll at Solsein Seminary alongside Alicia to make use of the time.
Special Footage & Season 1 Marathon
Alongside the scene cuts and web preview, a tokusatsu making-of video has also been published. Streaming platform ABEMA has additionally announced a marathon broadcast of the first season of the anime, beginning July 5, 2026.
About the Series
Crebates is a fantasy series based on the manga by Yuji Iwahara, serialized on LINE Manga. The story centers on Alicia, a female hero, and Crebates, the Demon Beast King who is entrusted with a human infant. Alicia is voiced by Haruka Shiraishi, while Crebates in his human form — known as Kren — is voiced by Mutsumi Tamura.

Broadcast & Streaming
Crebates II begins its broadcast run across 27 Japanese TV stations from July 8, 2026. TOKYO MX airs it every Wednesday at 22:30, and AT-X every Wednesday at 21:00. Early streaming ahead of the TV broadcast is available on dアニメストア, U-NEXT, and アニメ放題.
