The theatrical anime adaptation of Mahoutsukai no Yoru (魔法使いの夜) will hold a special event to announce its official release date on July 7, 2026 — coinciding with the birthday of main character Aoko Aozaki — at Naka-Ikebukuro Park in Tokyo, starting at 7:30 PM.
Voice Actress Haruka Tomatsu to Take the Stage
Haruka Tomatsu, who voices Aoko Aozaki, will appear at the event to officially reveal the film’s release date. A priority viewing area will be set up in front of the dedicated stage inside the venue. Access to this area is limited to winners of a pre-event lottery. Applications close on July 2 at 11:59 PM.
One-Day Advance Ticket Sale
On July 7 only, advance movie tickets (ムビチケ前売券) will go on sale at select Animate store locations:
- Animate Ikebukuro Honten (main branch)

- Animate Fukuoka Parco
Two ticket designs will be available: a “Teaser Visual ver.” and a “1st Key Visual ver.” Each purchase comes with a serial-numbered ticket-style card as a bonus, and buying both designs together earns an exclusive original movie ticket holder.
