Manga artist Kudō Misora kicked off a brand-new serialization on July 2 with Mazoku no Ouji-sama wa Watashi no Tame ni Supādari wo Mezasu Sōdesu (The Demon Prince Apparently Aims to Become My Ideal Man), launching on Corona EX, the web manga platform run by TO Books.
Story
The series follows a burned-out woman in her early thirties who is reincarnated into another world as Roselia, a princess of the kingdom of Kuruje. Life in the palace is far from comfortable — her cruel older sisters make her days miserable — but things take an unexpected turn when she meets Orfios, a small demon-kingdom prince with horns, who goes by the nickname Oru-kun.
When Oru-kun boldly declares he intends to marry Roselia, she responds by explaining her ideal type: a “supādari” — a devoted, capable, and all-around perfect gentleman. Just days later, Oru-kun reappears before her having undergone a dramatic growth spurt, now a strikingly handsome young man clearly determined to live up to her description.
The manga weaves a romantic fantasy around the unlikely pair: a reincarnated near-30 woman hiding behind a princess’s face, and a demon prince who will stop at nothing to become the man of her dreams.
