The production team behind the TV anime Youjo Senki II has released preview scene cuts and a synopsis for Episode 1, while also confirming that the web radio programme “Radio no Akuma” — which aired during the first season — will return on 14 July 2026 at 21:00 JST via the KADOKAWA Anime Channel on YouTube.
Episode 1: “Salamander Sentōdan”
The first episode is subtitled “Salamander Sentōdan” (Salamander Combat Group). Set in the autumn of Unified Calendar year 1926, the flames of war continue to engulf the world and the Empire finds itself surrounded on all sides. Lieutenant Colonel Tanya Degurechaff leads the newly deployed Salamander Combat Group as it is thrust into the Eastern Front.
“Radio no Akuma” Returns
The web radio show will once again be hosted by Yuki Aoi, the voice of Tanya, and Miki Shinichiro, the voice of Lergen. A listener email submission form has also been opened.
About Youjo Senki II
Youjo Senki follows Tanya, a militarily gifted young girl who fights desperately to survive on the battlefield. In this second season, Tanya is appointed commander of the newly formed Salamander Combat Group and is once again hurled into the brutal fires of war.
