The TV anime adaptation of Kanojo no Tomodachi (彼女の友達), based on the manga by Jura (じゅら), has released its second key visual alongside the series’ first teaser PV.
Second Key Visual and Teaser PV
The new key visual depicts Takeru Hidaka and his girlfriend Kaori Furukawa while Tomoko Yoshioka — Kaori’s close friend — creeps up on the couple from behind, perfectly capturing the show’s unsettling, morally charged atmosphere.
The teaser PV introduces all three central characters: Takeru, who has a girlfriend for the very first time in his life, alongside Kaori and Tomoko. The footage hints at the precarious three-way dynamic that is about to unfold.
Official Cosplayers and Special Stage
The production has also announced official cosplayers for the series. Sakura Suzu (さくらすず) will portray Kaori, while Risamaru (りさまる) will portray Tomoko. Photos of both cosplayers will be shared on X (Twitter).
The two will also appear at a 「TVアニメ『彼女の友達』Special Stage」 during World Cosplay Summit 2026, one of the world’s largest cosplay events, where they will perform and share new information about the anime.

Story and Broadcast Info
Kanojo no Tomodachi follows Takeru, a young man who has just experienced his first-ever relationship, only to find himself being seduced by Tomoko — his girlfriend Kaori’s best friend. The series is a tale of forbidden temptation and moral conflict. It is scheduled to begin broadcasting in October 2026.
