Story
The series centers on Kiryu Kokoro (桐生心), who goes by the online handle “Punihamu (プニはむ).” Her close friend “Bell (ベル)” — someone she bonded with through oshi-katsu (the hobby of actively supporting a favorite idol or character) — has been murdered by an unknown assailant.
Bell was the kind of friend Kokoro could talk to about anything. But after being questioned by police, Kokoro makes a shocking discovery: Bell’s real name, address, and birthday — everything she thought she knew — were all fabricated.
Determined to find out why Bell had to die, Kokoro turns to social media to solicit any information about her. Before long, she receives a DM from a streaming content creator known for exposé and investigative commentary videos.
The two form an unlikely partnership to unravel the baffling murder case, making this a buddy mystery that pairs the victim’s grieving friend with a no-holds-barred online streamer as they dig for the truth together.
