Gundam fans around the world won’t need a San Diego badge to catch the big news. A special program revealing new Gundam Series anime information will premiere simultaneously worldwide on the official YouTube channel “Gundam Channel” on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 3:00 AM JST, with an archive available after the premiere ends.
Same Content as the SDCC Panel
The YouTube stream will deliver the same new-anime information being unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2026 during the dedicated panel “GUNDAM Showcase 2026 – Unveil the Next Gundam,” scheduled for Thursday, July 23, 10:30–11:30 AM local time in Room 6BCF of the San Diego Convention Center. Organizers note that the Gundam Channel broadcast is not a recording or live relay of the SDCC panel itself.
The SDCC panel will feature special guests from Japan who will share details on the upcoming anime production, as well as updates on the broader domestic and international future of the Gundam franchise. Attendees at the venue will also receive a limited-quantity novelty bag filled with Gundam-related items.
Gundam Booth at SDCC
Alongside the panel, a dedicated Gundam booth will be set up on the SDCC show floor. Key highlights include a showcase of the newly announced game title 『GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT』, the latest franchise news, and exhibits tied to the new anime being announced at the panel. The booth will also display the newest Bandai Namco Group merchandise — including products related to the new anime — along with photo spots featuring Gunpla-kun and a Gundam statue. Event-exclusive Gunpla kits, figures, and other limited giveaways will also be available.
